FAQ
About Our Products
What are peptides?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids, which are the building blocks of proteins. In biological systems, peptides can act as signalling molecules, helping cells communicate and regulate different processes.
Depending on the specific peptide, they may be studied in relation to areas such as cellular repair, growth pathways, metabolism, inflammation response, cognitive function, tissue recovery, and other biological mechanisms.
At Unapologetic Labs, our peptides are supplied strictly for laboratory research and analytical purposes. They are intended to support researchers, laboratories, and qualified professionals conducting controlled studies.
Are your peptides research grade?
Yes. All products sold by Unapologetic Labs are supplied as research-grade materials and are intended for research purposes only.
They are not for human consumption, not for animal use, and are not approved for therapeutic, medical, or diagnostic use. Our products should only be handled by individuals who understand appropriate laboratory safety, storage, and handling procedures.
We do not provide medical advice, dosing guidance, or instructions for personal use.
How do I know your products are pure?
Product quality and transparency are important to us. Each batch is independently tested by a third-party accredited laboratory to help verify product identity, purity, and quality.
Testing may include analytical methods designed to assess the composition and purity of the material. Where available, customers can review supporting documentation through our Lab Testing page or request a Certificate of Analysis, also known as a CoA, for a specific product or batch.
A CoA provides important batch-specific information, which may include details such as product name, batch number, purity results, testing date, and laboratory findings.
What is a Certificate of Analysis, or CoA?
A Certificate of Analysis is a document issued following laboratory testing of a product batch. It provides transparency around the tested characteristics of that batch and helps researchers confirm they are working with the correct material.
Can your products be used personally or medically?
No. Products sold by Unapologetic Labs are strictly for research purposes only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition and must not be used for personal, therapeutic, cosmetic, veterinary, or medical purposes.
Any information provided on our website is for general research-related education only and should not be interpreted as medical advice.
How should research peptides be stored?
Storage requirements may vary depending on the specific product. In general, research peptides should be stored according to the handling and storage guidance provided with the product or listed on the relevant product page.
For best research integrity, materials should be kept sealed, protected from unnecessary heat, light, and moisture, and handled using appropriate laboratory procedures.
Ordering & Shipping
How long does it take to process my order?
Most orders are processed within 24 hours. In some cases, please allow 1–4 days for your order to be packed and dispatched.
When will my order be shipped?
Orders are only shipped once our accounts team has verified payment. Please follow all checkout and payment prompts carefully to avoid delays.
Who do you ship with?
We ship using Australia Post with tracking.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking details so you can monitor your delivery.
Is the packaging discreet?
Yes. All packages are shipped discreetly and securely, with no visible branding or product details on the outside of the parcel.
Storage & Handling
How should I store my peptides?
Storage requirements can vary depending on the specific peptide, however most research peptides should be kept in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
Peptides supplied in lyophilised, or freeze-dried, form are generally more stable than peptides in solution. While lyophilised peptides may remain stable at room temperature for short periods during shipping and handling, they are best stored under refrigerated or frozen conditions for longer-term preservation.
For best product integrity, we recommend:
- Keeping peptides sealed until ready for research use
- Storing products away from direct sunlight and humidity
- Avoiding repeated temperature changes where possible
- Following the storage instructions listed on the product page or Certificate of Analysis
- Using appropriate laboratory handling procedures at all times
Once a peptide has been prepared into a solution, storage stability may change depending on the peptide type, solvent, concentration, and research conditions. Prepared solutions are generally more sensitive to degradation and should be handled with care in a suitable laboratory setting.
All products supplied by Unapologetic Labs are intended for research purposes only and are not for human consumption, therapeutic use, or diagnostic use.
Should peptides be refrigerated or frozen?
For long-term storage, many lyophilised peptides are best kept refrigerated or frozen to help maintain stability and quality. Short-term room temperature exposure during transit or handling is generally expected, but products should be transferred to appropriate storage conditions as soon as possible after delivery.
Please refer to the individual product page or batch documentation for any peptide-specific storage instructions.
How should peptides be handled in a laboratory setting?
Research peptides should be handled carefully using appropriate laboratory procedures. This may include the use of clean equipment, suitable personal protective equipment, controlled handling conditions, and proper labelling.
To help protect sample integrity, researchers should avoid unnecessary exposure to air, heat, light, moisture, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Where required for research, aliquoting may help reduce repeated handling of the same sample.
Unapologetic Labs does not provide preparation, dosing, or usage instructions for personal, medical, cosmetic, or therapeutic purposes.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Shelf life varies depending on the specific peptide, batch, storage conditions, and whether the product remains lyophilised or has been prepared into a solution.
